It's part of the game, emotion, but I showed too much."

Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki hit for the cycle on Monday night in Colorado's 11-5 win over the Cubs. Tulowitzki also drove in seven runs in the victory. "We were sitting on the bench together and he was telling me, 'If you get anywhere close to getting a triple you better go,' " Tulowitzki said, according to the Associated Press. "I honestly think if it weren't for him I would have stopped at second."

The Athletics retired Rickey Henderson?s No. 24 on Saturday night, honoring the prolific leadoff hitter less than a week after he was inducted into the Hall of Fame, according to an Associated Press report.
